My latest series of paintings dives into the integration of AI in the arts, with a keen focus on its impact on the ever-evolving Bay Area art scene and the tech boom that’s set to redefine our lives. There’s something delightfully paradoxical about capturing San Francisco on canvas—while its architecture has stood for over a century, the city’s technological and mental landscapes are in a constant state of flux. San Francisco seems to be the first to embrace new ideas and just as quickly, the first to push back, a dance that’s as amusing as it is inspiring.

I use Photoshop to blend together images from pop culture, humor, and the works of Bay Area contemporaries, creating a generative whirlwind of creativity. My unexpected journey to Los Angeles and my foray into the entertainment industry, particularly in post-production for major studios, has reshaped my view of AI. Initially wary, I now find myself embracing AI tools daily. While I’m cautious of its effects on the art world, this shift has opened up new possibilities for me, blending traditional practices with cutting-edge technology. This body of work not only seeks to capture but also celebrate the dynamic essence of our creative community as it evolves alongside technological advancements
